and install this Attaché 7 upgrade. You might like to print the page so
that you can easily refer to it. If you need
further assistance, contact your Attaché consultant
or call the Attaché Helpline.
Before
you begin
- Read the Attaché 7 Release Notes.
- Check for known
issues with this release.
- Take a backup of your Attaché data.
- Exit Attaché 7 and ensure that no one else is using Attaché 7.
Important note: You must carry out the upgrade at the same computer/workstation from which you last upgraded Attaché 7. To find out which computer/workstation this is, at each machine go to Control Panel | Add or Remove Programs and see which one lists Attaché 7. If you cannot locate the correct computer/workstation, contact your Attaché consultant for assistance.
Download
- At the computer from which you last upgraded Attaché 7, open your web browser and go to the Attaché 7 upgrade page of the CBP Members website, click the download Attaché 7 button.
- The File Download dialog box asks what you
want to do with the file. Click Save.
- In the Save As dialog box, at the Save
in field choose Desktop.
- Click Save to download the
file.
- When the file has finished downloading, click Close to close the Download Complete dialog box.
A new icon called A701102.exe is now displayed on your desktop.
Install
- On your desktop, double-click the A701102.exe icon
- When asked Do you want to run this file? choose Run.
This launches the InstallShield Wizard.
- When the InstallShield Wizard is complete, choose Finish to close it.
You have now completed installing the upgrade.
Check your installation
- Start Attaché 7.
- Check that the Version stated on the Sign On screen is 7.01.102.
- If the version number is not 7.01.102, please
contact your Attaché consultant or
call the Attaché Helpline.
Now that you have upgraded Attaché 7, be sure to check for upgrades of your other Attaché products including Attaché ODBC and Attaché Archive.
