Help - Download Acrobat
How do I download Adobe Acrobat to read PDF documents?
Information, What's New and Improved notes and other product
documentation is available from this website in Portable Document
Format (PDF). PDF allows for high quality printing and screen
viewing of online documents.
To view these files you need to install Adobe Acrobat Reader.
Every page on the CBP member services site that contains a
PDF download also contains a link to the Adobe website. Click
on this link to download a free copy of the latest version
of the Acrobat Reader software.
The link to the Adobe site looks like this:

It is a simple, three-step process to download the software
from Adobe.
- Select the following details:
- Choose your preferred language. Since all Attaché
Software documents are written in English we recommend you
download the English language version.
- Choose your platform. This is the operating system you
have installed.
- Choose to download from the location nearest to you from
the drop down list. The nearest location to the Asia-Pacific
region is Japan. This choice affects the download speed.
- There is an option for including the ability to search
PDF files. If you would like the ability to perform keyword
searches on longer documents, tick this option.
- Fill in your contact details if you wish Adobe to contact
you regarding special offers and news about their products.
You do not have to perform this step.
- Check the size of the file you are about to download.
Click the Download button.
Note: It is recommended that all users upgrade to
the latest version. Due to changes in the Windows 2000 operating
system, some PDF documents may not display correctly for Windows
2000 users. All Windows 2000 users must have Acrobat
Reader 5.0 installed on their PC to view all PDF documents
correctly.
All Business Partner and Attaché Catapult CDs contain
the latest version of Adobe Acrobat at the time of release.
However, since Adobe does regular updates to the Acrobat Reader
software you may need to download and upgrade your version
even if you have a previously installed copy of Acrobat Reader
from the CD.
